2005 Season - Week 11

Trading Day 2

With so many injuries this season there were not a lot of top scoring players around so only 12 players were cut last Sunday by just 8 owners. The injury plagued NY Jets lost 2 more players as did the controversy hit Eagles where the two key faces in the rift, Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens were both cut. Aaron confirmed he will play with just a $7 million budget for the next year and a half as he cut Franchise QB Daunte Culpepper. Johnny’s changes made the most immediate effect as his new boys outscored his old guys by 18 points. Those 18 points were enough to get him into the Hall of Fame, but 57 points was only the third highest score of the week. Hall Of Fame for Three, Please Yes, for the first time ever 3 BUMS made the Hall of Fame in the same week. It has been 10 years since Andy H has been in the Hall but he made his second visit after putting up 62 points (the 6th highest of all-time). Mark totaled 59 points for his BUMS leading 8th visit to the Hall – the man should have a season ticket. Meantime Johnny’s 57 points means he has equaled AP with the second most visits – 6. BUMS are great It helps with 3 Hall of Fame performances, but we should all give ourselves a pat on the back as this week we scored more points than in any other week in BUMS history. The 521 points (an average of 32.56 per owner) beat the week 1 score in 2002 when we put up 516 points. Congratulations to everyone. BUMS Players Hall of Fame Thanks to the 14 owners who submitted their ballots for the BUMS Players Hall of Fame voting. Results are as follows:-In 10th place was Andy Reid with just 3 points, =9th Donovan McNabb & Jimmy Smith 15, 7th Mike Vanderjagt 16, 6th Jason Elam 21, 5th Ryan Longwell 28, leaving the 4 2005 inductees as 4th Daunte Culpepper 36, 3rd Shaun Alexander 65, 2nd Tim Brown 73 and 1st Priest Holmes 92.
